Nikhil did not contest in the assembly elections
Former CM H.D. said that Nikhil Kumaraswamy will not contest in the assembly elections. Kumaraswamy said.
Speaking in Maddur, Kumaraswamy said that Nikhil Kumaraswamy is hinting to contest assembly elections in Ramanagara, Channapatnam and other constituencies. Answering the journalist's question that his mother Anita Kumaraswamy is opposing this, he said that Nikhil is currently only actively participating in the party organization and traveling across the state and working beyond his strength for the JDS party to come to power in the upcoming assembly elections. But Nikhil said that he is not contesting the upcoming assembly elections for any reason.
Commenting on Mandya's trial blast issue, he said, K.R.S. Want to blast a trail on the side? I don't know about Bedwa. The government has stopped the trial blast. I don't know what the situation is there. The government will take a decision on this. Farmers have protested in that area. He said that the government should take a decision about the trial blast after knowing the situation and facts.
